Gatling Gears puts gamers in mechanized suits and sends them off to battle the minions of an evil corporation in intense overhead shooting action set in the same universe as the game Greed Corp. Players take on the role of Max Brawley, a retired pilot of "Gatling Gear" mechanized robots, as he and his niece battle through the heart of the Empire's defenses, using a "twin-stick" mechanic for concurrent shooting and movement. Gamers string together kills to earn score multipliers and eventually purchase weapon and armor upgrades for the mech, and two players can team up in both local and online co-op action.
